A legend of a successful hunter who never shared food with others, even those who were starving. A starving family, a man, wife, daughter and son reach the stingy man. The stingy sees the young woman and desires to live with her. The family builds their lodge beside the stingy man. The stingy man invites the family and gives them food to eat. The young woman is arranged to live with the man. The stingy man refers to his young brother-in-law as as Shiichikunaapaau. The family hunts caribou successfully after that by using caribou snares.

A man and wife are hungry. Even when he performs the shaking tent, his helping spirit doesn`t come to help him. One day as he walks, he finds a path of people traveling. He follows the trail and finds the camp. He reaches the camp as a feast is being held. He announces that he had arrived and is very hungry. Everyone at the camp ignores him. He enters the lodge and a group of men are feasting but still ignore him. He sat down with the men and proceeded to eat. Apparently, these are helping spirits and is successful in his hunting there after.
