This is a story about old man; his name was Kaauchiyuwichiu. He made himself a canoe. He had a daughter and a son-in-law; they had two grandsons. He told his son-in-law; he would kill a caribou if he had something to use. When he went to get the caribou; he saw lots of berries. He picked them up. He saw the greater yellowlegs. They saw someone standing and ran after it.

Some of his words were hard to understand.

Abraham recounts the story of Iyaashaau and his son. Iyaashaau abandoned his son on an island far from home, but with the help of the seagull and fish, Iyaashaau`s son finds his way home.
