Kaauchihkumishiu tests the powers of Piyaakwaakimiu by getting him angry. Kaauchihkumishiu trades a caribou skin for a fish net from Piyaakwaakimiu. After the trade, Kaauchihkumishiu returns the net saying that he heard rumours that Piyaakwaakimiu was not satisfied with the trade. Both men leave each other on a sour note. Kaauchihkumishiu paddles and notices a blade of sea grass stuck on his paddle. He tries to wash it off but it stays on his paddle. He picks off the sea grass with his fingers and continues paddling. Later that night, Kaauchihkumishiu`s arm becomes very sore. After healing his arm, he finds out that it was Piyaakwaakimiu that put a curse on the sea grass to make him sick. Kaauchihkumishiu returns the curse by killing Piyaakwaakimiu. The brother of Piyaakwaakimiu takes revenge on Kaauchihkumishiu.
