Abraham recounts the story of Iyaashaau and his son. Iyaashaau abandoned his son on an island far from home, but with the help of the seagull and fish, Iyaashaau`s son finds his way home. When the son returns home he seeks revenge on his father and sets his mother and siblings free by turning them into birds.

A story of an Inuk going to set a net at a lake in his kayak. A young friend watches from the shore. He paddles to a small island to look for eggs and is chased by a polar bear. He gets attacked by the polar bear and the young man watches. His brother takes revenge on the polar bear. After killing the polar bear, he sees that it was a very strong animal, full of sinew and muscle.

The parents of the boy search for the boy for along time and during this time the bear is teaching the boy different things like how to pick boughs properly so that humans won`t notice the broken branches. Eventually, the boy is found and from then on he has a connection to bears or a greater understanding that other people don`t have.

Part 3 - The mother asks the atuush to do something and atuush had warned the family that he would leave them if he was asked to do something.

Part 4 - A variety of animals plan to find a summer bird in order for the child to be happy because atuush had left him earlier.
