Part 3- Maria talks about the string made out of sealskin and used to tie dogs and sleds together, also made a whip out of sealskin to make dogs run faster.

Story is about a young girl who after her first period was put in a teepee by herself and given fish to eat. She was unable to eat right away and when she went back to it, it was all gone. She went to her parents camp only to find them all dead.
