AbrahamPisinquon

Born: November 17, 1913 - Past beyond: April 2, 1998

Abraham was one of the eight children of John Pisinaquon and Hannah Pachano-Pisinaquon. He was brought up on the land. He only experienced his own native culture and language.

Abraham was one of the great hunters in God's garden. He was a great story teller.

He married Mina Snowboy on August 16, 1938. Together they had a son and five daughters.

Abraham became a catechist in their parish of St. Philip's Anglican church of Fort George (Chisasibi) back in the 1950's. He started writing his diaries in the early 1960's until his life ended.
