Part 1 - A mother discovers that her child is infested with lice. The mother believes it impossible it is to take the lice out.

Part 2 - Atuush and the child travel to where the mother and father went and arrives upon the mother setting camp.

Part 3 - The mother asks the atuush to do something and atuush had warned the family that he would leave them if he was asked to do something.

Part 4 - A variety of animals plan to find a summer bird in order for the child to be happy because atuush had left him earlier.

The Late Edward Matches was a Coastal Carrier by Dog team during the Fur Trade, along the East coast of James Bay. He lived at Old Factory 30 km south of Wemindji (Paint Hills). There were times he would travel to Moosonee to get mail for Waskaganish, Eastmain, Old Factory and Fort George.
